VOCAL ASSESSMENTS ARE BEING SCHEDULED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS. Please complete the registration and email Emily Bird at emily@nlca.com to schedule your assessment time. 

Registration & Vocal Assessment Fee
A $25 fee is required to reserve your child’s vocal assessment. This fee will be credited toward 2026–2027 tuition if your child enrolls in the National Lutheran Children's Choir program. If your child chooses not to participate, the fee will be refunded. No refunds will be issued for missed (no-show) appointments.

Note: If you are planning to sign up multiple children from the same household, you can register up to 3 children per form. The first child's vocal assessment fee is $25, and each additional child's fee is $10.

About the Program
The NLC Children’s Choir provides a joyful choral experience rooted in sacred music. Using this repertoire as a foundation, singers develop healthy vocal technique, music literacy, and ensemble skills while growing as expressive, confident musicians. Rehearsals are engaging and supportive, and culminate in meaningful performance opportunities. No prior experience is required, and no child will be turned away. 

Vocal Assessment
The assessment is a brief, low-pressure meeting (not an audition - more just like a singing "check-up") that helps us get to know your child’s voice. Activities may include echoing pitches and singing a familiar song. No preparation is needed.

Note: If you are registering multiple children from the same household, we recommend that you select the same date and time for all children's vocal assessment.

Parking: Park in the church lot at the intersection of Lincoln Ave and Snelling Ave S. There are typically abundant spots available, especially in the evenings.
